Monitoring and supporting student engagement, attention, and comfort in a classroom setting through augmented reality (AR) applications.
This project focuses on children moving from kindergarten to prep. Disengaged, inattentive, and restless classroom behaviours are too often attributed to social or learning disorders (such as ADHD or Autism) when classroom learning disengagement is the cause.
This project expands an immersive AR learning environment in which children can learn about
caring for nature, saving the forest and wellbeing.
One particular focus will be to use an analytics engine to capture and analyse usage data from the AR environment, to assist with managing classroom engagement.
