Jondi Keane

Jondi is an arts practitioner, critical thinker and Associate Professor of Art and Performance in the School of Communication and Creative Arts at Deakin University’s Faculty of Arts and Education. Over more than three decades, Jondi has exhibited, performed and published in the USA, UK, Europe and Australia. Jondi’s research interests include contemporary arts practice (installation and performance), contemporary theory, embodiment and enactive theories of cognition, experimental architecture and built environment, and practice-led research and research design.

Project Highlights

  • Co-applicant on Canadian SSHRC partnership grant: Immediations: Art, media and event.  The grant includes 3 Australian Universities (RMIT, UNSW), and numerous European, N. American and Canadian Institutional and University partners (2012 – 2019).
